Larry Claussen is a dedicated Reiki Master-Teacher with over a decade of experience in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of natural healing. His journey into Reiki began in June 2013, when his wife, Valerie, introduced him to this transformative practice. Valerie had already completed Reiki Levels 1 and 2 while living in Arizona and had experienced firsthand the profound emotional, physical, and spiritual benefits of Reiki. Her passion for healing inspired Larry to explore Reiki for himself—and it quickly became a shared path.
Larry embraced the practice wholeheartedly, completing Reiki 1 in June 2013 and Reiki 2 the following month. He immediately recognized Reiki’s powerful impact on his own well-being and that of his family. Motivated to deepen his understanding, he completed Advanced Reiki Training (ART) in September 2013 and became a Reiki Master-Teacher on May 31, 2014. Over the past ten years, Larry has primarily focused on using Reiki to support his family, but he is now stepping into a new chapter—bringing Reiki to the broader community through his new initiative, Reiki 10.
In 2025, Larry completed advanced training in the Holy Fire® III Reiki system, as taught by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). This experience has deepened his knowledge and expanded his appreciation for Reiki’s potential to support healing not only on an individual level but also globally. With this new training, Larry is even more inspired to share Reiki’s transformative energy with others and to guide students on their own healing journeys.
Valerie has been an integral part of this journey from the beginning. In addition to introducing Larry to Reiki, she has used the practice to support their three children through life’s challenges—offering calming meditations before bedtime and during stressful times. Her nurturing approach has helped create a peaceful, healing environment at home.
Now, Valerie is excited to join Larry in teaching Reiki classes and sharing their combined wisdom with others. She will be assisting in the delivery of Reiki 10 courses and is also continuing her own growth by pursuing advanced training in the Reiki Holy Fire® III system. Valerie is on the path to becoming both a Reiki Holy Fire® III Master Teacher and a Karuna Reiki® Holy Fire® III Master, further deepening her ability to support others on their healing journeys.
Together, Larry and Valerie bring a unique blend of experience, compassion, and dedication to their Reiki practice. Their shared mission is to guide others in discovering the healing power of Reiki, fostering balance, peace, and well-being in every aspect of life.
